Other Random Happenings

I decided that the revenge thing deserved a separate post of its own, plus it also makes it look like I'm doing a better job of keeping y'all updated on my life =). In this post, my intention was to have several different stories of crazy things happening in my life, but I also plan on going to bed sometime tonight. Hopefully I'll make it through the most "important" ones before I fall asleep here =). Not that there is anything boring about my life of course, its just that I haven't been getting a decent amount of sleep lately, and need to ensure that I am ready for classes tomorrow. Especially since I have two tests. Moving on!

THE GEEK
"Pie is good." Now, I've heard some pretty crummy/stupid pickup lines, but I must say this guy's entire style just really impressed me... not in a good way though. OK, so some context might help you a little here. Kelli, Callie, Hannah and I all went out shopping together. We were in TJ Max, looking for something specific for Callie. So, we browsed around a little, and found a few things for her to try, and so she went to try them on. Kelli, Hannah and I continued looking around, and then Kelli found something else she wanted Callie to try, so Hannah said she would take it to her, and I was just sort of tagging along. When we got to the desk there was this guy with bleached hair with the ends dyed blue working there. Hannah started to walk right into the back, and this guy stopped her and made this really big deal about her needing to have a number to show how many items she had. I decided that rather than going through all that I would just wait where I was, so I started looking at all the stuff around there. Well, then this guy pops up with "pie is good". I looked at the guy, trying to figure out if he really just said that, and so he repeated it (he must have thought that I was hard of hearing, because he repeated almost everything twice). I just kind of raised my eyebrows, and turned my back on the guy.
"What?? You don't like pie??" I eyed the bleached-blue haired creature, and finally gave in.
"It's not my favorite."
I decided to be blunt almost to the point of rudeness, and then turned my back on him again... Apparently I should have ignored him altogether!
"Oh. Do you prefer cake?? Or ice cream??"
"I like cheesecake the best."
"Oh yeah. Cheesecake is awesome. If you have it with strawberries it is sooo good. Then its like... like... strawberry cheesecake!"
If that was supposed to impress me, it sure didn't work! I just looked at the guy undecided as to whether I should pity him for his stupidity or to just let him enjoy being a geek. At this point Hannah came out of the fitting room area and was rather startled to see me in conversation with this guy, and was just going to cruise on by and ignore her roommate in need, but I was not about to let that happen! I took off after her (she was moving really fast because she was trying not to burst into hysterical laughter at the desperate look on my face), and the guy was left yelling after me:
"It has to be made with a graham cracker crust too! That's the best!"
I ignored the guy and tried to keep up with Hannah, until we got over to where Kelli was and we hid behind a rack and went into hysterics. Then Hannah looked over a few minutes later and then informed us that the guy was "dancing". It certainly was not my idea of dancing! I don't even know how to describe it other than it was a very interesting style of "dance". I could demonstrate, but you wouldn't be able to see me very well =). The whole thing really actually kind of scared me, so when we decided that we needed to go check on Callie so we could see the stuff she was trying on, I walked in between Kelli and Hannah, and kept my face turned away from the guy at all times, and managed to make it through without any further embarrassment on either side.

I was going to tell you about how my car has been causing people to doubt my word, and accuse me of hallucinating, and about Rachel shooting a pin through her fingernail, and about something else that slipped my mind, but I think its my bedtime. The Geek (I don't know his name, so I nicknamed him =)) took a little longer than I planned on. Maybe I'll have time later this week... maybe =). Goodnight!
