The Revenge of Kelli Lyle

Kelli, as I have mentioned before is the RA in our dorm, and as such we tend to play a lot of practical jokes on her. We do it to everyone in the dorm, but Kelli gets the most because she's gone the most. We don't do anything really mean, just random things like hanging her clothes from the ceiling while she's running in the gym, or writing an invitation to her wedding reception on our marker board (complete with a guy's name, but not anyone that others here would know). Oh, and last Wednesday Callie and Hannah borrowed this really creepy looking mask from one of the other guys here to go into the office where Kelli works and try to scare her (it failed though). She gets us back a little bit, with random things like a note on Hannah's desk that said "goodnight, porcupine rind!", or she can tickle me, or whatever comes to mind at the moment. Oh, my nickname is "Lamb Chop" and Callie is "Lemon Cheeks". I call Kelli "sweet corn" sometimes, but not all the time. Anyway! On with the rest of the story.

Thursdays Kelli always has meetings with Sue, who is our dean. So Thursday afternoon Kelli comes back from her meeting with Sue, with this little sticky note that says:

She put it on our marker board and told us that we all needed to read it. Now, Dan Falls is the dean of students here at the school, so if you are in trouble or are getting kicked out... Oh, excuse me! We don't kick people out, we ask them to "take some time off, to get plugged into your local church, and consider where you want to go in life..." =). So we were all feeling a little nervous about this. Kelli said that she finished her meeting with Sue, and just before she left Dan handed her the note and told her to stick it on our whiteboard. So here we are on Thursday with this meeting hanging over our heads until MONDAY!!!! Do you know how long that is?!?! I was really afraid that I would forget it and just go to chapel instead, so I kept reminding myself of it so that I would be sure not to forget. Consequently it was the last thing on my mind last night, so I had a nightmare about it! Then I woke up this morning, and realized that I had to go through it again! So I fidgeted my way through our first hour of class, and then walked with Kelli to Dan's office with great trepidation. I hadn't done anything wrong that I was aware of, but I figured it must be something that our dorm was in on as a whole anyway. The only things I could think of was that maybe Dan wanted to see how Sue was doing as a dean (this is her first time as a dean), or maybe someone had overheard one of our conversations in our dorm and was offended by it.

We finally get there. We had to wait a few minutes because Dan was still in a meeting. Hannah and Callie got there, and so they all grabbed some hot chocolate (you can have that or coffee only if you have a meeting with a dean). So we go in there, and all four of us crammed onto the couch. Sue was fluttering over us asking us if we had diarrhea (she gets it when she's nervous =P), and bringing in a Kleenex box in case of emergency. Finally Dan comes in, shuts the door, sits down, and looks at all of us.

"So, uh, it has come to our attention that there has been a lot of practical joking going on in the dorm, and Kelli has been the brunt of it all. She didn't want to tell us about it, but after much prying, we finally got the truth out of her. Do you have anything to say about this?"

(Callie and Hannah started trying to defend us, while I looked at Kelli who was sitting right next to me)
"She's not the only one that we pull pranks on, we do it to everybody... she just gets more because she's gone more."

We finally got the truth out of Kelli, and it turns out she wanted to get revenge on us for all of our stuff! I went through all that stress for NOTHING!!!!! Actually, she was really bummed because I'm the one who spent the most time worrying about it, and I'm the one who does the least to her! I go along with the other girls, but most of the time I don't do anything myself. You all know me, I'm just a little angel =). Oh well. She enjoyed her revenge, and its a good thing, because I have a feeling that Hannah and Callie are going to come up with something even worse for their revenge! If I don't post on here again, you'll know that I probably died from all of this stuff! (good excuse, if I say so myself!)
