Hmm...

I called Abby at work yesterday and asked her to find me an appointment. She had a patient on hold and said she'd call back in a little bit. Three hours later she called and said "Can you be here in twenty minutes??" I guess she talked to one of the nurses who told her that I needed to be seen right away, and there was a cancellation for that afternoon! So I raced in and Dr Savage poked and jabbed at me for a while, asked a bunch of questions, and then very cheerfully told me that it's been a while since he's diagnosed malaria, and this could be fun (Fun for who?!?!). So then I had to go over and have them draw some blood for the testing. The nurse stabbed me in the right arm, and couldn't get anything out of me. So then she dug the needle around in there for a little while, but still didn't get anything. Finally she switched over to the other arm and was able to drain me from that side. If that's Dr Savage's idea of fun, maybe I'll find a different Dr! Anyway, I won't know anything until they get the lab reports back. I guess Dr S. requested that they send it off to Bronson, so it might take a little longer. I am feeling a little better today, so maybe I have something else. I hope so. The more I hear about malaria the less I want it. Not that I ever wanted it in the first place, but you get the point!

Maybe since I actually feel pretty good I'll do something today! I dunno what though. There's too many choices. I think the first thing I'll do is make some poppy seed bread. Mmm, that sounds good. If you want a slice feel free to drop by : ).
