I realize I'm skipping a few events, but you may just have to wait until I get home for some of those. I'm still excited about my fishing trip, so I'll just skip a few "chapters" in my event calendar : ).
When Chris found out that I enjoyed fishing, he decided to sacrifice his personal preferences and set up a trip. He had been planning on himself, Jael, and I, but then Angie said she wanted to go too. So we found babysitters for both the kids, and Dave Wall, and his son Seth took us out on the ocean.
We went about nine miles out, dropped in a couple lines, and trolled around for about forty-five minutes, without getting anything. So we pulled in the lines, and started heading for the reef. On the way we spotted some logs and debris floating around, dropped in the lines and started trolling around the debris. We were about two-thirds of the way around when Seth snagged one on his line. It only took him about fifteen minutes to reel in his female mahi-mahi. He was disappointed to have caught the female and not the male. But the mahi-mahi, have one mate for life, so we made the circle again to try and catch the male, but it didn't work. The mahi-mahi, when they get angry, frustrated, or scared their fins, and spots turn this electric blue. That was really cool to see.
Ok... I started this post two days ago now, and I haven't had the chance to finish it. Angie and Chris are heading full force into the translation stuff, so I did all of Jael's schoolwork with her today, and probably again tomorrow. Plus, I was "watching" Baruch at the same time. He was outside a lot of the time, and I didn't see him while he was dumping laundry soap all over the picnic table that's down there. And then while Jael was taking a break the two of them put dirt into the dryer! Aren't I a great babysitter?? :p I told them they were not to touch the dryer again, and I'd leave the punishment up to their parents. I told Angie about it when they were all back here for lunch, but I think she forgot to deal with it. The dirt that's still in the dryer might be a good reminder : ).
I'm feeling kind of frustrated with Jael right now. She has a really annoying habit of turning off my bedroom fan, which makes the room absolutely stifling. That's bad enough, but then add to that my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that she dumped down the drain. THEN to top it all off she got into some of my stuff in my room too! Since she did it all on the same day, I haven't said anything to her or her parents about it. If it happens again I'll have to. I did mention the fan thing, since she's done that more than once, but I just kind of "happened" to mention it. Chris took the hint, and asked Angie to do something about it, but Angie just thought it was a good joke. Chris is most definitely the disciplinarian around here! There, now that I've got all that complaining off my chest, I'm feeling a lot better : ).
I'm still feeling the effects of my fishing trip. It didn't take too long to find all the spots that I missed when putting on the sunblock : p. Most of them aren't too bad, but around my watch it's pretty painful. My watchband has a decorative hole in it that I got burnt through. It's hard to position my watch so that it's not rubbing on it. It usually doesn't start bothering me until the end of the day, so that's nice. My neck... now that's a different story! It's been driving me nuts all day long. trouble is I'm dealing with heat rash in that area too, which makes it kind of itchy, but it really REALLY hurts if I scratch it : p. I'll get over it soon enough though.
I think that's about all I have to say tonight. My computer access is very limited right now with both Chris and Angie working on the translations, so I'm trying to catch up on email and this instead of calling my family. I'll try to call them tomorrow. Problem is that the computer is available to me when Abby is at work. But I'm working on that problem. OK, I need to hit the sack. Oh, just to let you know, Mark and Sonde have found somewhere else to stay. They didn't get there until really late last night (their first night staying with them), and their hosts were a little upset over that so they headed off earlier tonight. We should get the lowdown on them tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will work out. Anysways, Goodnight!

Nobody seems to be commenting anymore. Hmm. I wonder why not? Maybe they still haven't gotten it through their heads that you can see their comments now. Oh well. Maybe this one will cheer you up.
It's like you're in a completely different country, Anna... (heeheehee!) Sounds like fun. Hope the sunburn and heat rash go away quicky!
The sunburn is peeling, the heat rash is something that I usually deal with during the summer at home too, so I'm resigned to it staying :P.
It is nice to know SOMEONE is reading my blog though!
