Literally! Would you believe that my time here in Mibu has been shortened from another month to ONE WEEK! There have been new developments/complications with the translation check. The plan had been that Chris was going to hike out for two weeks. BUT the translation consultant, Linda, has been noticing things that need improvement with their work. So she was proposing to come in here and work with the whole team here. But then the men decided that since Chris and Angie do most of the kernel checking stuff it would make more sense for the Walker crew to fly out to Madang. Which includes me. So as of a couple hours ago I was informed that I had only one week left here. Unless of course something changes again. Which is entirely possible. At first I was fine just thinking that I'll be able to call you guys a lot sooner and stuff, but then I realized I have to leave behind all the Tarts and Husa's. Plus Brooke will be flying into here the day we fly out, so I wouldn't get to see much of her.
I can just imagine what the Tart kids will say, and Skyler has just gotten used to having me around. Geoff and Shannon will probably take it ok, but Chris said Joey doesn't want me to go, and Brooke I'm sure will be disappointed.
But this means I'll have two weeks in Madang with all the Walkers, so I'll get to see everything and do everything with them. Then they'll fly back into here, and I'll still have another two weeks in either Madang or Lapilo, it's up to me. OR I could stay here and cook for myself and all and fly out as the Walkers fly in... I don't think so. I wish I could do both.
Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know what's happening, so you can all be praying for all of us here. This is absolutely INSANE! I think I'm going to go absolutely crazy. I gotta go cuz Angie wants to email someone else, and get everything sent out. So I'll TALK (literally this time!) to you later!
Love,
Your friend/relative that is quite rapidly going insane
