I'm finally here!

You should all be very proud of me! I'm actually on here to give a real update of what all has been going on in my life complete with a few pictures! Don't you feel special?!?! I have no idea what all to put on here, so I'll just stick it all in here, but it probably won't be chronological.

1. I finished my junior semester here at New Tribes Bible Institute, learned a ton, and had a splendid time getting to know my roommates and other classmates. We spent our last evening together at David and Terry's house, and had David take some pictures for us.

2. I got a whole month off for Christmas break! I went home, and caught up on sleep (for the most part anyway); ate some real food; spent a lot of time with my family =); helped out with our church Christmas program; had Christmas get togethers (Abby and Alex were here, but Jim and Lid, Mark, and Steve were unable to make it =(); had a sleepover with Hannah & Sarah Bredeweg, Katherine Huizenga, Sarah Duren, plus Rachel, Mom and I, during which we watched Cranford (5 hrs.) and Wives & Daughters (4 hrs.) - I highly recommend both of them but possibly not on the same day =P; we shoveled a ton of snow, bought new cushions for the couches downstairs (we decided it was about time after spending about 9 or more hours on them), and repainted the upstairs bathroom.

3. I'm back at school. This is my last semester here, and I will be graduating on May 16, 2009. Anyone interested in coming is welcome to come. I don't have many details on it yet, but if you are interested you may wish to put it on your calendar. Since this is my last semester it will probably be the busiest yet, due to the senior retreat, and class projects and such.

4. What am I doing after graduation? Good question, but currently I do not have a good answer! I have several things that I am contemplating. Number one on my list is possibly being a counsellor at Csehy, the music camp that Andrew and Rachel attend. If that does not work out I may go on a missions trip to an orphanage in Mexico with the youth group of my church here in Jackson. Then basically I need money, so that means a job. I'd really like it if I could get something working with kids, like as a nanny, or possibly in a daycare center. Second choice would have to be something secretarial. Ultimately I am hoping to work in an orphanage overseas, possibly in India, but I'm waiting for God's timing on that right now.

Random things: for whatever reason it won't upload pictures for me right now, so I'll give you a link to some pictures from thanksgiving, and for the pictures from our dorm photo shoot with David: http://harrypics.shutterfly.com/ http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=56143&l=130a9&id=746167339 I'm going to try and upload some of my PNG pics on there as well. Chris and Angie just went back to PNG. They left last Sunday, and got there sometime on Tuesday I think. I went over and helped with some packing, so that I could spend some more time with them before they left. The picture thingy worked! This is a pic of Alexis after she ate an amazingly chocolatey chocolate cookie!

Apparently it's not going to load any others. Sorry. Some other time hopefully. I'll try not to wait so long in between updates. Ta ta!

Woohoo!!! So what's this senior trip thing? Do you know what you're doing yet? Y'know, its easier to update more often, I'm learning. Because that way you don't feel so overwhelmed with what to tell everyone :). Anyways, Ta ta!! (ta ta???... oh well)
